The Formosa Centre Console delivers a highly stable, open fishing platform with a wide forward casting deck and effortless access to all sides of the boat. With the console positioned forward, this model is designed for standing navigation, providing anglers with an ideal balance of visibility and manoeuvrability. The sturdy forward casting deck is built with Formosa’s signature aluminium construction, including an underdeck storage box equipped with a drainage system to keep your gear dry.
The aluminium Centre Console is a spacious 800mm wide, built to accommodate large flat-screen electronics. It features heavy-duty extrusions, drink holders, and a convenient storage shelf. A Formosa-designed heavy-duty folding windscreen provides wind protection, which can be folded forward for a full 360-degree view—perfect for reducing height when storing under a carport. Previously the most popular upgrade, the heavy-duty folding T-top with aluminium Hardtop Visor now comes standard, offering extra sun and wind protection with the option to add clears for enhanced comfort.
Comfort is key with the included Twin Seat Box, featuring a flip-back seat cushion and backrest for forward or rear-facing seating, as well as internal storage access. You can choose between the slimline Twin Seat Box for more rear deck space or the standard size to fit your needs. To aid in navigating slow-moving waterways, an Electric Motor Mount comes as standard on this model.
Additional standard features include a large aluminium bowroller, an anchor well ready to mount an anchor winch, 32mm handrails, Tow-Catch™ Trailer capability, a heavy-duty dive ladder, quality steering, a moulded fuel tank with sender and filter, an automatic bilge pump, transom deck tread, foam-filled hull, electrical harness kit, three cleats, and four aluminium rod holders (with six on models 635 and above). The boat’s exterior boasts white paint and signature Formosa graphics for a sleek finish.
For even more functionality, consider upgrading to the BOSS Console option (available on models 595 and above), which provides additional storage space and a private toilet bay within your console.
Formosa boats are celebrated for their stability at rest, and the Quad4™ Water Ballast system enhances this even further, especially in offshore conditions. From March 2023, the Quad4™ Water Ballast will be included as standard in all new orders.

Why Choose a Formosa for Space and Stability?
Formosa boats are renowned for their spacious decks, extending all the way to the bow. Several key design elements combine to create this generous space, including the perfect balance of deadrise, reverse chine, wide beam, generous freeboard, and ergonomic layout. These features make the boat feel larger than its size, offering a stable platform for all-day enjoyment on the water.
While some boats with sharper deadrises may cut travel time slightly, they often sacrifice comfort and space—especially on long, rough days with multiple passengers. At Formosa, we believe performance isn’t just about speed, but also about comfort at rest. Compare a Formosa to others on the market and you’ll be surprised by the space it offers.
4-Year Structural Hull Warranty
Formosa Marine offers a 4-year warranty on the hull structure to the original purchaser, covering any defects in material or workmanship on all hulls built from 2018 onwards. Additionally, there’s a 1-year warranty for all Formosa Marine factory-fitted parts and accessories, including cabins, launchers, tops, fittings, and optional extras, which may experience movement with use.

Quad4™ Water Ballast System
The innovative Quad4™ Water Ballast system features an industry-leading ‘Off Keel’ counterbalance design, providing unparalleled on-water stability. Unlike traditional keel ballasts, the Quad4™ uses four chambers, combined with a wide beam and reverse chine hull, to minimise hull roll caused by swells or internal passenger movement.
When underway, the longitudinal stringers empty rapidly, allowing the boat to get on plane seamlessly without compromising performance. This advanced system is now standard on all Formosa models from March 2023, offering you a stable and smooth ride, no matter the conditions.
